President Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed with Swiss President Ignazio Cassis preparations for the Conference on the Restoration of Ukraine.
The event will take place in the Swiss city of Lugano on July 4-5.
The President of Ukraine spoke about this in his video message on the evening of April 30.
Zelensky and Cassis also discussed the intermediary role of Switzerland in helping Ukrainians who ended up on Russian territory in the provision of consular services.
In conclusion, the head of state thanked Switzerland for the humanitarian support of Ukraine and Ukrainians.
In turn, Cassis said that he had discussed Swiss humanitarian aid with the Ukrainian president and specific options for how Switzerland could contribute to the return to peace with its “good offices.”
