On Saturday, April 30, the President of Ukraine signed decrees on awarding 133 soldiers of the National Guard of Ukraine participating in the war with Russia.
Among the awarded 11 people – posthumously.
Zelensky spoke about this in an evening video message on April 30.
“I signed a decree on awarding our defenders – fighters of the National Guard of Ukraine. State awards were awarded to 133 National Guardsmen, 11 of them posthumously. Eternal memory to all those who died for Ukraine! Eternal glory to each and every one who stood up for the defense of the state! Glory to Ukraine!” the president said.
