On April 30, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a telephone conversation with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson. In particular, the parties discussed further defense support for Ukraine.
In addition, Zelensky told Johnson about the situation in the blocked Mariupol.
“I maintain constant contact with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson. I spoke about the situation on the battlefield and in the blocked Mariupol. We discussed defense support for Ukraine and the necessary diplomatic efforts to achieve peace,” the Ukrainian president said in a statement.
