North Korea can preemptively contain a hostile nuclear threat.
North Korean leader Kim Jong-un said his country’s troops must be prepared to take preventive action to counter growing nuclear threats.
This was reported by the Central Korean News Agency.
The North Korean leader at a meeting with the command staff called on the military to be ready to “preemptively and thoroughly suppress all dangerous attempts and threatening actions, including nuclear threats.”
He said that his country’s troops, if necessary, will be able to “prevent and carefully deter and neutralize all dangerous attempts and threatening steps, in particular, the constant escalation of nuclear threats from hostile forces.”
According to Kim, superior military power is a lifeline that guarantees the security of the country and the people.
