The German thematic resource Borncity drew attention to a new problem for users of the Microsoft operating system.
According to the source, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint antivirus solution causes a number of serious problems for users of Windows 10 20H2. And the problem has been observed for almost a month.
The list of issues caused by Defender for Endpoint includes:
- Very high memory usage
- Black screen issue after login (delay two minutes or more)
- Word 2016 and later versions won’t open or take a very long time to open
- Windows Event Viewer spends a lot of time to show events
