In the Telegram messenger, it became possible to send cryptocurrency to the interlocutor. Currently Toncoin and Bitcoin are available. The procedure for transferring cryptocurrency takes place without commissions, but first you need to connect the Wallet bot, which is a Telegram cryptocurrency wallet that allows you to buy Toncoin and Bitcoin with a bank card, exchange and transfer cryptocurrency to other wallets. When replenishing the wallet, funds are credited within 30-60 minutes.
To send cryptocurrency to the interlocutor, you need to select the bot from the attachment menu, enter the desired amount, confirm all the details and click “Send”. The operation of the Wallet is demonstrated in a short video of the Ton project.

Bitcoin support is a logical step, and Toncoin support is not accidental: the Telegram Open Network (TON) project was developed by Pavel Durov and his brother. Subsequently, the blockchain platform and the Gram cryptocurrency based on it were closed, but a group of developers kept the project afloat and rebranded Gram to Toncoin.
