According to Counterpoint analysts, the PC market in the first quarter fell by 4.3% to 78.7 million units.
One of the main reasons was the shortage of components, which affected most manufacturers, as well as problems with logistics.
Lenovo remains the market leader with 18.2 million PCs sold. It is followed by HP (15.9 million), Dell (13.8 million) and Apple (7.1 million). At the same time, the last two were able to increase supplies, while the first two showed a decline in annual terms.
The source’s specialists believe that in the second half of the year, the shortage of components will not manifest itself so strongly. At the same time, discrete graphics cards will still suffer from a lack of production capacity and components.
