The day before there was information about a fire in the territory of the Belgorod region.
Today, May 1, information about explosions in the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation appeared on the Telegram channel.
According to eyewitnesses, there was a series of explosions.
So, the adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Anton Gerashchenko, said that the bridge from Belgorod was blocked, ammunition depots were on fire.
Russian Telegram channels reported a fire on the territory of one of the objects of the Ministry of Defense.
Later, the governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, confirmed that the cause of today’s explosions near Belgorod was a fire at a facility of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
“On the border of three municipalities – Borisov and Belgorod districts and Yakovlevsky urban district – there was a fire on the territory of one of the objects of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation,” he said.
According to him, one victim among local residents is known. Emergency departments are currently on the scene.
Recall that Russian Belgorod is being frightened by shelling from the Armed Forces of Ukraine : warnings have appeared with the exact time of the strike.
