Severodonetsk in the Lugansk region could fall under siege after the Russian army fails to take it by storm.

The Russians are preparing to attack Severodonetsk, the occupying army is sending forces from the Mariupol direction to the city.

This was announced by the head of the Lugansk regional military administration Sergei Gaidai.

“In recent days, military experts have begun to attribute the fate of Mariupol to Severodonetsk. The city’s defense is super-powerful, so it will be extremely difficult to capture the regional center of the Luhansk region. But the orcs can go the other way – according to the Mariupol scenario. According to him, the invaders are trying to shoot Severodonetsk, they are trying to completely destroy it. But the Ukrainian army managed to make normal defensive structures around the city, they normally hold the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Ukrainian artillery does not let enemy mortar crews close enough, so they cannot completely throw mines into the city.
