Internally displaced persons can receive another form of assistance from the Red Cross. For more information about this, read the material TSN.ua.
We are talking about those Ukrainians who moved from regions where active hostilities are taking place and temporarily settled in Kyiv. Additional assistance from the Red Cross Society in the amount of up to 4,500 hryvnia. This was announced by the head of the Kiev city organization of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine Tatiana Goenko.
However, these funds can be received not in the form of cash or transfer to a bank card. The first stage of assistance involves the distribution of certificates for the purchase of any product in the Silpo network . And only the most vulnerable categories of the population will receive them, namely:
- families where a child with a disability is brought up;
- persons with a disability of group I;
- families with three or more children (under 16);
- families containing at least one orphan child (under 16).
Who gets how much
The amount of the benefit will also not be the same. Thus, persons with disabilities of group I will be able to receive three certificates for purchases from Silpo in the amount of 500 hryvnias (that is, a total of 1,500 hryvnias). And other categories will have access to 9 certificates for 500 hryvnia each (i.e. 4500 hryvnia).
It is also worth noting that the voucher will operate as follows: if a person bought products in the amount of 510 hryvnia, he will have to pay an additional 10 hryvnia. And if you buy for less than 500 hryvnia, you will not be given change.
