The President of Ukraine stressed that you need to choose whether you are for the truth or not.
The Russians make money on blood, and then this money is taken as tourists to Greece and Turkey.
Meanwhile, for example, Turkey, on the one hand, acts as an intermediary and supports Ukraine with important steps, and on the other hand, it is preparing several tourist routes in parallel.
This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky during a conversation with a journalist from the Greek public broadcaster ΕRΤ, answering a question about how he assesses Turkey’s controversial actions – its attempts at a peacekeeping mission against Ukraine and Russia at the same time, military actions to provoke Greece.
“When you are at war, you must do your best to unite states around you, even those states that historically have difficult relations. We must do everything to have all such states on our side, because Ukraine needs partners and needs friends. Otherwise, we simply cannot defeat the aggression of the Russian Federation. On the other hand, I must be absolutely open with you, for example, we have the support of Turkey, and we have the support of Greece. But we have a question, I will tell you honestly, and about Turkey, and there are questions about Greece. This is life. And each state has its own interest, its own interests. I would like everyone in Greece to support us, I would like them to choose our side. But it happened like this “How happened. But the most important thing is that now we feel support. And the most important thing is that the people of Greece support us. I am grateful to them for that. On the other hand, in Greece there is a moment, I understand why: because A lot of money comes into the budget from tourism. And of course, Russian tourism brought a lot of money to Greece for many, many years. We believe that they (the Russians – ed.) earn on blood, and then they will import this money,” the president said.
Zelensky noted that the situation is the same in Turkey.
“On the one hand, Turkey acts as an intermediary and supports Ukraine with important steps. On the other hand, we see how, for example, it is preparing several tourist routes in parallel. Especially for Russian tourism. And we see this too. And I, if we want to have friendly relations, I, as president, must say this, that it’s just not possible. You can’t treat it like that, it’s double standards. It’s not entirely fair. And that’s why I draw Turkey’s attention to such processes. And I think that this can’t be. choose whether you are for the truth or not,” he stressed.
Recall that Zelensky called the damage that Russia inflicted on Ukraine .
