Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russian propagandists have been coming up with new fakes every day to discredit the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Experts from the Center for Counteracting Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine have collected a selection of fakes and disinformation stuffing that the enemy produced during May 2.
This is stated in the message of the Center for Combating Disinformation in the Telegram channel.
List of fakes and disinformation:
- Propagandists of the Russian Federation reported that “the Kyiv regime is hiding behind civilians as a “human shield”, in particular, in Barvenkove, in the building of a psychiatric hospital, nationalists have equipped a stronghold, and civilians are forcibly kept in the basement.” Warning: This is fake!
- Despite reports of Russians cutting off communications in the occupied territories in southern Ukraine, Russian propagandists continue to claim that Ukraine has cut off mobile communications and the Internet in the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. Warning: This is misinformation!
- The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that in Rubizhne “Ukrainian troops, retreating, fired mortars at a residential sector.” At the same time, illegal armed formations of ORDLO stated that they “find the bodies of executed civilians in the city.” Warning: This is fake!
Recall that in the temporarily occupied territories, the enemy is spreading disinformation that in Ukraine all men evacuated from the occupied territories are allegedly forcibly mobilized.
