In Russia, graves of the military who died after February 24, when Putin launched a full-scale war in Ukraine, began to appear en masse.
At least 26 graves of Russian servicemen who were buried in February-April 2022, that is, after a full-scale invasion of the territory of Ukraine, appeared at one of the cemeteries of Russian Krasnodar. The youngest of them is 19 years old.
This is reported by Russian media.
A site for military personnel was found at the cemetery, where 3.5 rows of graves were placed. There are about 55 graves in total. In the first and second row are the graves of those who died in 2021. Then there are those who died in 2022.
Those born in the years 1970-2000 attracted particular attention – 11 of their graves were counted. Most of them have portraits of people in military uniform or with weapons.
The graves are strewn with still fresh flowers, wreaths from the Russian Ministry of Defense. Above three graves (the age of the deceased – 37, 31 and 23 years old) the flags of the Airborne Forces and the Navy flutter.
As noted, on the mourning ribbons of the wreaths on these graves, in particular, it says “Donbass”, “From the administration of the Kuban district.” Many wreaths with a five-pointed star have also been discovered.
An employee of the cemetery said that those who were brought “from the Donbass” have recently been buried in a specially designated area for military personnel. The last of them, still quite young, was buried with “honours” on the morning of April 30.
Recall that the loss of Russian invaders in manpower in Ukraine is approaching 24 thousand people.
