President Volodymyr Zelensky, commenting on Boris Johnson’s appeal to the Ukrainian parliament, thanked the British prime minister.
In particular, the head of state thanked the new UK support package for Ukraine.
Zelensky said this in his video message on the evening of May 3.
“I am grateful to the Prime Minister of Great Britain and a great friend of Ukraine Boris Johnson for his support of Ukraine and our defenders, our defenders. Boris addressed our parliament and our people. These were very important words, warm, friendly, strong. This is a very sincere gesture. I am also grateful to Britain for the new package of support for our state, which the Prime Minister announced,” the President of Ukraine said.
Recall that Boris Johnson spoke online to the people’s deputies of the Verkhovna Rada and told what weapons Ukraine would receive from Britain in the coming weeks.
