In Transcarpathia, the organizer of an illegal scheme for transporting men of military age across the border was exposed. It turned out to be a migrant from Kharkov, who decided to organize an illegal business in the west of Ukraine.
The detention of the violator was carried out by employees of the State Bureau of Investigation together with the National Police.
This was reported today, May 3, in the press service of the DBR.
The Kharkiv resident offered the men fictitious certificates of unfitness for military service, as well as their transportation across the border under the guise of volunteers.
Now law enforcement officers are checking information about the involvement of employees of military registration and enlistment offices, doctors and border guards in illegal business.
“In particular, according to operational information, with the assistance of a Kharkiv “businessman” in one of the recruitment and social support centers in the Transcarpathian region, men allegedly passed a military medical commission, which recognized them as unfit for military service in wartime with simultaneous exclusion from military records” , the message says.
For his services, the organizer took 20 thousand dollars from the “clients”. He was caught “in the heat” while receiving payment from another man who wanted to escape abroad.

During the search, law enforcement officers seized 40,000 US dollars, weapons and ammunition, mobile phones, flash drives and stamps from the detainee.
The pre-trial investigation into the fact of illegal transportation of persons across the state border continues (part 3 of article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). For the committed man is threatened with imprisonment for up to 9 years.
