In the village of Nova-Buda, back in March, as a result of the fall of a Russian air missile, the Holy Cross Exaltation Church was damaged.
As a result of an air strike, Russian invaders damaged the Holy Cross Exaltation Church in the village of Nova-Buda in the Zhytomyr region , which was built in 1900.
This is reported by the police of the Zhytomyr region.
In addition, a local resident was injured walking past the church to the store. The event took place on March 1st.
“The largest fragment fell right in the middle of the road in front of the church building, the rest cut through the roof of the church chapel, nearby trees, and glass flew out from the blast wave in almost all the windows of the building,” says local elder Anatoly Pisarenko.
According to the preliminary conclusions of the UGSChS specialists, who, together with the policemen, conducted an inspection of the scene, fragments of an enemy air missile collapsed. Even the marking of the date of its manufacture has been preserved.
The head of the Radomyshl police department, Alexander Kirichenko, confirmed that the police of the investigative and operational group record all the circumstances and determine the qualification of the incident as a war crime – Art. 438 (Violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Recall that there is not a single hospital left in Chernihiv that has not been damaged by the occupiers.
