Today, a video of the village of Maryinka, Donetsk region, appeared on social networks. The video clearly shows how the enemy destroys residential areas of the city.
It can be seen that this settlement is destroyed, scorched and practically uninhabitable – shops, schools, a hospital, and a post office do not work in the city. A small number of citizens settled in a bomb shelter, cook food on the street and only occasionally go out to watch their houses burn, according to TSN .
This city near the occupied Donetsk, the Russian invaders destroyed for eight years , stormed, tried to seize this piece of land studded with waste heaps. But Maryinka – held on, rebuilt, repaired.
On the central streets of the city, everything is shot through, in some places there is smoke above the dwellings, the frames of buildings are sticking out, windows have been shattered, craters are everywhere, trees have been knocked down, it seems that people have disappeared and only the sounds of shelling remain. Here the exits of the “Gradov” alternate with the arrivals of mines.
Among all this, dozens of people live in one of the yards. “There is no glass, not a single window, everything is broken, and I am sitting in the basement around the clock,” say the locals.
Marina and Aleksey complain that they haven’t changed their clothes for two months. They fled in what was, and then everything in their house burned down. Their shelter is a basement, people say that it is reliable, built under the communists. It’s a little cold inside and very humid. “It seems to us that all the houses in Marinka are on fire, but we went out, and everything is shining there. Imagine how he sees it,” says Nina.
Beloved Grisha soothes – as best he can. “We live like shit, but stable. And with stability, a person gets used to it, as if it should be so, ”says the man.
Only the military move around the city in ruins, because there are no more than 100 local people here, because 70% of the houses are destroyed.
A little easier on the outskirts of the city, this allows the locals to restore order in the yards to the sounds of shelling. Here, in one voice, they repeat the same phrase: “If they kill, they will kill, but if they don’t kill, we will live.”
The locals only complain about the annoying sounds of explosions.
Zinaida Fedorovna hardly leaves the house – she was born in Russia, her daughter lives in the occupied territory, her son lives in Transcarpathia. “In my life, no one made a remark that in Russian (I say – ed.). From whom will I be released, for God’s sake,” the woman says.
But Gennady – he is almost the only one who does not complain, because he feels protected thanks to vodka, and has an income. “Sabbaths – that’s why I’ll dig a grave, that’s why I’ll dig a grave,” says the man.
He took his family to Belarus, and he himself is waiting to see how the war will end. “And I will sit until victory. In general, who will be the “DPR” or Ukraine, I don’t care,” adds Gennady.
