This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal .

“Support for our citizens remains a priority. From the first weeks of the war, we launched and are actively implementing a program for the free distribution of food and sanitary kits for residents of front-line cities. Hundreds of thousands of such kits have already been distributed,” the head of government said .

According to Denys Shmyhal, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has also made a decision that will allow further financing of these programs. In general, the government will transfer UAH 7.5 billion to local budgets.

“These programs will provide millions of our citizens with the necessary food, medicine, and hygiene products. These are important things that we are implementing and will continue to implement,” the Prime Minister emphasized.

Among other things, the Government allocated UAH 56 million. for “Nikolaevvodokanal” to start drilling artesian wells near Nikolaev and provide residents of the city with water.

Denys Shmihal stressed that the operational restoration of the liberated territories continues. The government has already allocated UAH 1.4 billion. Kyiv, Chernihiv, Kharkov, Sumy and Zhytomyr regions. This is money for the restoration of electricity, water, gas, the construction of temporary bridges, clearing roads and other priority measures.
