In the Dnepropetrovsk region, law enforcement officers detained four local residents who kidnapped people and transported them to farms for labor slavery.
Law enforcement officers released 60 people.
This was reported in the press service of the National Police of the region.
As it became known, human trafficking was organized by two people who had two executors. The suspects searched for the homeless, recruited them and involved them in forced labor at their own economic facilities on the territory of the Petrikovsky and Magdalinsky districts.
“Two accomplices visited the most common places where the homeless lived – railway stations and bazaars in different regional centers, brought people to a state of intoxication and delivered them to agricultural land. There, people actually worked for food, did not have normal living and working conditions,” the press service of the National Police of the region said.
On this fact, the suspects were given a notice of suspicion of committing a criminal offense under the article on “trafficking in human beings”. Three men and a woman face up to 15 years in prison.
Recall that the Russian invaders opened mortar fire on the territory of the Glukhov community.
