The death toll in yesterday’s terrible accident in the Rivne region has risen to 26 people. Of these, 24 passengers and two drivers – a minibus and a bus.
This was reported in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
12 people were injured: 11 bus passengers and a fuel tanker driver.
All passengers between the ages of 17 and 69 . The youngest on May 12 was supposed to turn 18 years old.
At the time of the accident, there were 34 passengers and one driver in the cabin of the Setra bus, which was heading to Poland. It turned out that one more passenger had to land in the city of Brody, the second driver – in Lviv.
The driver of a Mercedes-Benz Vito car, who committed an accident, was overtaking another vehicle, drove into the oncoming lane, where he collided with a fuel truck.
The identity of the deceased driver of the minibus has not yet been established.
All road accident participants from Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Kharkiv and Khmelnytsky regions.
Recall that earlier it was known about 17 people who died in an accident on the Kyiv-Chop highway in the Rivne region. A fuel truck, a minibus and a regular bus collided there. The vehicles caught fire as a result of the collision.
