Kremlin head Vladimir Putin refuses the term “denazification”.
In his video message on February 24, President of the aggressor country Vladimir Putin called the “demilitarization” and “denazification” of Ukraine the goals of the so-called special operation. However, according to Russian sociologists, the majority of Russians do not understand the meaning of this word, but cannot explain it.
This is reported by journalists-researchers of the “Project” with reference to sources in the Kremlin.
“Almost immediately, it became clear that the term was unsuccessful. About a week after the start of the war, the Kremlin asked its sociologists to conduct closed telephone opinion polls, including the question of the attitude of Russians to the main theses of propaganda. The four interlocutors of the Project are a high-ranking media manager and a sociologist close to the Kremlin and political technologists claim that the respondents could not really explain what “denazification” means. In addition, it was difficult for people to even pronounce this word, says one of the interlocutors, “the journalists report.
The Kremlin has drastically curtailed its use of the term “denazification.”
Propaganda journalists and programs in Russia have also dramatically changed their use of the term “denazification”.
This information is confirmed by broadcasts of the Vesti Nedeli program by propagandist Dmitry Kiselev. In the first issue after the start of the war, he explained the meaning of “denazification” for at least seven minutes. But already in the April issues, he either did not use the term at all, or did so once during the issue.
On the morning of February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin, in a video message, announced a “special military operation” to “protect” Donbass. Its goal, according to the head of the occupiers, is to protect people who, for eight years, have allegedly “suffered bullying, genocide by the Kyiv regime.” Putin announced plans to “demilitarize” and “denazify” Ukraine.
Immediately after Putin’s address, explosions were heard in all major cities of Ukraine. Russia launched a full-scale war against Ukraine.
