In Ukraine, there are many cases when, during mobilization, those citizens who, for health reasons, cannot fight, were taken into the army.
There are also problems with the use of terrorist defense units at the front.
Aleksey Arestovich, adviser to the head of the OP, spoke about this on air on Channel 24.
“I am a supporter of a differentiated approach to mobilization. It is far from a secret that we have many cases when even epileptics are taken into the army simply because a summons has arrived. And people who have eight years of combat experience cannot get into the army. – Ed. .), wherever they want. These are excesses on the ground,” says an adviser to the President’s Office.
Arestovich assured that each such case is considered separately and the attention of the top military leadership is drawn to this. The adviser to the head of the OP said that he personally helped several people with disabilities avoid mobilization, “although exemption from mobilization is a difficult process.”
Also, the adviser to the head of the OP commented on the issues of the territorial defense units at the front.
“There are unfortunate cases, which we are now dealing with, when terrorist defense units were thrown into battle almost without appropriate training. You need to understand where there was an urgent military need, and where it was just individual commanders who decided: “Well, what. They are the troops. Let them go to war. This is an unacceptable situation,” he said.
According to Arestovich, many of these fighters have already been taken to the second line of defense and allowed to rest.
“Despite all the rise, the unity of the nation – there are a lot of mistakes . There will be even more. And in war, mistakes are always someone’s life. And there are also cases of direct treason, or very similar to it. If you knew the whole truth, you would be horrified. But I will tell it after the victory. The price of victory will be heavy. And the central authorities do not always have time to react because of the fog of war. You don’t have time for everything, “Aleksey Arestovich explained and assured that the authorities are doing everything possible to respond and avoid these mistakes.
Earlier, Arestovich said that restrictions on traveling abroad for men could be eased .
