Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba welcomed the decision of the European Union to impose an oil embargo against Russia and criticized those states that opposed this decision.
Recall that on May 4, the EU introduced the sixth package of sanctions against Russia. Among the restrictions are the oil embargo, the disconnection of several other Russian banks from SWIFT, and the ban on state news broadcasters.
Kuleba expressed his comment on this topic in a video message on the Web.
“If any country in Europe opposes the embargo on Russian oil, there will be clear grounds to say that this country is an accomplice in the crimes committed by Russia on the territory of Ukraine,” the Foreign Minister said.
Recall that Bulgaria, Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic opposed the sixth package of sanctions against Russia on May 4, expressing concern about the oil embargo.
