Today, May 4, the occupiers fired at the Avdiyivka Coke Plant with mortars.
As a result of enemy shelling, one building was damaged, there is no information about the victims and the dead yet.
This was announced by the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration Pavel Kirilenko.
“The Russians continue to shoot at civilian targets in the center of the region. This morning, the Avdeevka and Maryinsk communities were under attack. The Avdeevka coking plant came under fire again – this time under a mortar. One building was damaged, there is no information about the victims yet. Also as a result of night shelling on A residential building and a school were damaged in Avdiivka,” he said.
The Russians also fired incendiary shells at Maryinka at night – there are pockets of fire in the private sector. For almost a day, shelling continues in the Novomikhailovka area. Nevertheless, the specialists managed to restore the power line at Krasnogorovka.
Kirilenko urged everyone who is not involved in the operation of critical infrastructure to leave the region.
Recall, on May 3, the Russian military attacked Avdiivka , as a result of which 12 people were killed and at least 15 were injured. The invaders launched air strikes on the central part of the city, and then on the coke plant.
