This device allows you to turn on and off the load up to 2300 W (16A) using a radio remote control. Unlike all other similar sockets, the load can be turned on not only constantly, but also for 30 or 60 seconds.
The manufacturer suggests using this device for a food waste disposer, but it can be used for other purposes (I bought it to control a well pump).
The socket costs $14.10 (about 1000 rubles) , there are options with a black and white remote control.
There is an on/off button on the socket, when the load is turned on, the blue indicator is lit.
There are four buttons on the remote – permanent on, off, on for 30 seconds, on for 60 seconds. When you press any button, an orange indicator lights up in the center of the remote control.
In terms of the range of the radio remote control, the socket does not differ from the others – the 433 MHz remote control works at a fairly large distance (I have a button-remote located in the country kitchen, and the socket in the barn at a distance of several tens of meters.
The frequency of the radio channel is not indicated anywhere, but most likely it is the standard 433 MHz.
The remote control has a base attached with double-sided tape. The remote is attached to it. The battery in the remote control is a CR2032 lithium “tablet” (already installed in the remote control at the factory).
Neither the socket case nor the instructions indicate the maximum load power (except that there are “16/250 ~” markings on the plastic, so I dismantled the socket to see what kind of relay is installed there.
The relay says “16A 250V”, so it must withstand a load of 2300 W.
The power tracks are tinned with a thick layer of solder, there are protective slots on the board, the flux is not washed off.
This socket cannot be found on Aliexpress if you try to find a socket with a timer. Thanks to the reader who suggested that we need to look for an outlet for the dispenser. By the way, the same manufacturer has similar sockets with timers of 5 and 10 seconds, and with timers of 5, 10, 30, 60 seconds (remote control with six buttons) .
