Due to enemy mines in the Black Sea, the holiday season in the Odessa region is under threat.
According to the speaker of the Odessa OVA, Sergei Bratchuk, for a safe holiday, you first need to clear the sea and the coast, but this can only be done after the Victory.
This was told by the speaker of the Odesa OVA Sergey Bratchuk in a telethon.
“The holiday season, to put it mildly, is in jeopardy. It will not be in the sense that we are used to understanding it and relate to that holiday season. The safety of our citizens is, first of all,” the OVA stressed.
“Yesterday they neutralized a sea mine in our water area and there were already such facts that mines were brought to our Odessa beaches. Moreover, these are mines that the Russians scattered in the Black Sea. They officially recognized this, they scattered more than 400 pieces. They don’t know where they are, well, we don’t know where it can wash ashore,” Bratchuk added.
It is not known when it will be safe on the beaches of Odessa, the speaker of the Odessa OVA noted.
It should be noted that the threat of missile strikes by the Russian army on the territory of the Odessa region remains very high. Residents of the region are urged not to neglect air raid signals.
Recall that over the past day, on May 3, the Russians launched missile attacks on objects in the territory of the Dnepropetrovsk, Kirovograd, Lviv, Vinnitsa, Kyiv, Transcarpathian, Odessa and Donetsk regions in order to destroy the transport infrastructure. More details about the situation at the front are in the construction of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on May 4.
