The self-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, despite the fact that Russian fighter jets flew to Ukraine from the territory of his country, notes that he is an opponent of the war.
According to him, “unleashing a war in the West is absolutely not in favor of Belarus.” Like, his country “does not threaten anyone and is not going to threaten.”
Lukashenka stated this in an interview with the Associated Press news agency.
“We hold all events on our territory. We will not do this (threat – Ed). Moreover, we cannot threaten: we know who is opposing us. Therefore, it is completely not for the benefit of the Belarusian state. Therefore, let the West sleep in peace,” Alexander Lukashenko said.
In addition, Lukashenka said that he feels that Russia’s war against Ukraine did not go according to plan. Like, I did not think that such an “operation” would be delayed in this way.
As reported, a sudden check of the reaction forces began in the Armed Forces of Belarus. Belarusian troops conduct training within the framework of seasonal norms. Against this background, the occupying state of the Russian Federation will try to inflate the threat to Ukraine, according to the British Ministry of Defense.
