The Russian occupiers have created filtration camps in which Mariupol residents are kept: they have been turned into a real ghetto.
Four weeks ago, the invaders of the terrorist state of Russia forcibly removed all the men from the Guglino, Mirny and Volonterovka districts. About two thousand people were placed in the villages of Bezymennoe and Kazatskoye in the Novoazovsky district in the south of the Donetsk region.
An exclusive video from the environment of the filtration camp in his Telegram was shown by the adviser to the mayor of Mariupol, Petr Andryushchenko.
“The filtration camps in the village of Bezymyannoye have been turned into a real ghetto for the Mariupol residents. This is the most terrible story that should be told to the whole world. We received all the details and a unique video confirmation from the inside. Without exaggeration, this is a new page in the Russian war crime that is happening right now,” – it is said in his message.
The men were placed in the premises of the school and the club. By the way, it was the camp at the school that was captured in the video. People are forbidden to leave the school grounds without a Russian military escort. The conditions of detention are appalling: people are forced to sleep on the floor in the corridors. They do not receive medical care.
According to the mayor’s adviser, the first case of tuberculosis was recorded among the people at the school in Bezymyanny. As a result, the school’s sports hall was turned into an isolation ward. Many people were locked up there without medical care. In the village of Kazatskoe, the first death of a man was recorded due to the refusal of the invaders to call an ambulance.
In the morning and in the evening people are given food. “In the absence of any of the detainees, the occupiers promise to intensify torture and resort to shooting other detainees. Three meals a day with real gruel. As a point of hygiene in the city, there is one sink with cold water for thousands of people. There is no hygiene, which increases the incidence,” said Andryushchenko.
The men’s passports and other documents were taken away for identification purposes. In addition, they were not allowed to take any things with them. After the filtration, people were given a piece of paper about its passage. However, he does not allow them to leave the camp. There were separate attempts, but the men were detained and beaten. According to Andryushchenko, during the last of the gates, people tried to break through to the UN evacuation buses and the Red Cross, which the detainees could see from the windows.
The detainees are recruited to work on landscaping in Bezymyanny and Novoazovsk. It is noted what will happen next with people – it is not known whether they are used as labor force in the analysis of the rubble of Mariupol or are mobilized into the army of the aggressor state of Russia.
“On Monday, May 2, it was announced at the line that the men would participate in the parade on May 9 in Mariupol as “prisoners”. To do this, they would be dressed in the uniform of Ukrainian soldiers,” he said.
By the way, the houses of women who remained in the areas of Guglino, Mirny and Volonterovka are being robbed by Russians. In addition, they do not go outside because of the fear of rape.
As reported, Mariupol remains the hottest spot in the Donetsk region. The city is destroyed and blocked by Russian invaders. They mock the locals, step up filtering measures and implement an information blockade. In addition, residents of Mariupol are being deported to Vladivostok and offered low-paid jobs: the conditions in which Ukrainians live have become known.
