Ivano-Frankivsk restaurateurs are asking the mayor’s office to allow the operation of summer playgrounds.
However, the city council notes: first of all, it is necessary to take into account the situation in Ukraine. In addition, there should be a healthy compromise on this issue.
May 5, mayor Ruslan Martsinkiv announced this on the air of the radio “Western Pole”.
According to him, the issue of selling alcohol at summer venues should be resolved. The mayor stressed that he was against it.
“Firstly, no one was going to let them work until May 9. If we allow it (alcohol – Ed.), then this must be stipulated. The second is work during air raids. Now is not peacetime. Therefore, strict restrictions on the operation of summer playgrounds,” he stressed.
In addition, on the eve of City Day, the mayor does not recommend citizens to have outdoor picnics. “About 50% of the residents have someone serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine or other units, if not more. Be understanding. There should be walks, but I don’t recommend high-profile celebrations,” Martsinkov said.
As reported, in Ivano-Frankivsk, girls are called to join volunteer battalions . Now you can join the ranks of three formations of the territorial community: participating in hostilities or protecting the city.
