Russian troops continue their offensive in eastern Ukraine in order to establish control over the territory of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions and create a land corridor to the occupied Crimea.
The Russian invaders are regrouping and taking measures to replenish ammunition and fuel.
This was reported in the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on May 5.
“The enemy does not stop conducting offensive operations in the Eastern Operational Zone in order to establish full control over the territory of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions and maintain a land corridor between these territories and the occupied Crimea,” the report says.
At the same time, Russian troops provoke tension in the Transnistrian region of Moldova and on the territory of Belarus.
The invaders are regrouping, taking measures to replenish ammunition and fuel, and also trying to improve the tactical position of their troops.
Recall that on May 5, “Azov” denied the information that the Ukrainian military pushed back the Russian invaders from the territory of the Mariupol plant “Azovstal”.
