Relatively calm, the night passed in many areas, but the night before the enemy fired missiles at different regions of Ukraine. So, in the Kyiv, Dnepropetrovsk and Cherkasy regions, air defense worked.
As a result of enemy shelling in eastern Ukraine, civilians were killed , there are also wounded, among them an 11-year-old boy.
The situation in the regions of Ukraine was reported in the General Staff of the Armed Forces.
As a result of rocket strikes on the evening of May 4, the following information is known:
Kiev region : in the evening, air defense shot down a rocket over the Brovarsky district. As a result of the fall of debris, bushes and reeds caught fire. There were no victims. At night – air raid.
Two rocket attacks in the Dnipropetrovsk region in the evening. One rocket was shot down. Another hit the railway infrastructure. There are destruction. There were no casualties. Night with anxiety. Calm in the morning.
In the Kirovograd region , approximately after ten in the evening – the arrival of a rocket at infrastructure facilities. First, no casualties.
Cherkasy region : the day before, at about ten in the evening, air defense worked near Cherkasy. Two missiles were shot down. There are no victims. Evening, night and morning – with air raid alerts.
The situation in the eastern regions of Ukraine:
Kharkov : at night there were several shellings of the outskirts of the city, there were no casualties. During the day, an 11-year-old boy in the Lozovsky district was injured as a result of shelling in the region. One person died in Balakley region. Fighting continues in Izyum.
Luhansk region : in a day – seven powerful artillery attacks on Severodonetsk, seven more – on the Popasnyanskaya and Gorskaya communities, four – on the Lisichansk community. During the night, Novodruzhesk suffered fires in 2 residential buildings, and Lisichansk suffered fires in residential buildings. 5 dead civilians.
Donetsk region : the situation is difficult, but controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The invaders are increasing the intensity and power of shelling. Yesterday under rocket air strikes – the center of Avdiivka. At least 15 houses, the premises of two gas stations were damaged, there were wounded.
Today at four in the morning – shelling with air-to-ground missiles in the city of Kramatorsk, as a result of which 9 residential buildings and school No. 2 were damaged, a gas pipeline was depressurized on the territory of the Energomashspetsstal plant, and other buildings were damaged. During the shelling, 25 civilians were injured, 20 of them received assistance on the spot, 5 were sent to the hospital.
In the evening and at night, periodic shelling of the city of Marinka, as well as shelling of the town of Chasov Yar, Bakhmut district. 17 residential buildings were damaged, one dead civilian was found.
To the south:
Kherson region : the situation in the region remains difficult, explosions and shelling in the region. The invaders continue fighting and looting on the territory of the Kherson region. The situation is stably critical.
Nikolaevshchina : last night one of the districts of Nikolaev was fired from MLRS . Residential buildings, gas pipes were damaged, the contact line of the “electrotrans” was cut off. As a result of the shelling, 4 fires broke out. According to preliminary information, one person was injured.
