The Minister of Foreign Affairs reproached the West for being slow in making decisions on the supply of weapons to Ukraine.
Russia uses in the war against Ukraine weapons from the Soviet times , at the same time, Ukraine seizes for its defense the latest weapons provided by partners. And he does it faster than the weapons were provided to the Ukrainians.
Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba announced this in his post on social networks.
“Soviet-era stockpiles of weapons are declining, but Russian aggression is not. Therefore, Ukraine is switching to modern equipment. Study is needed, but we are learning quickly. In fact, we are learning to operate modern weapons faster than some governments need to decide to provide them,” — he wrote.
Stocks of Soviet-era weapons dwindle, but Russian aggression does not. This is why Ukraine shifts to modern equipment. Training is essential, but there are fast learners. In fact, we learn about the operation of modern weapons faster than it takes some governments to decide providing them.

Recall that Hungary still prohibits the transportation of weapons to Ukraine through its territory. And even after a rocket hit Transcarpathia, where a large community of Hungarians lives, they consider their decision to be the right one. “This attack shows that we made the right decision when we decided not to send weapons to the war,” said Hungarian Foreign Ministry Secretary of State for Information Tomasz Menzer.
He believes that military cargoes can become targets for Russian attack if they cross the Hungarian-Ukrainian border.
The representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also noted that he is constantly in touch with the Hungarian Embassy in Uzhgorod.
