To avoid tragic cases due to insect bites, doctors advise those who have previously had a severe allergic reaction to seek help. Doctors also advise carrying a minimum set of medicines for medical care. Typically, syringe pens with adrenaline and hormonal suppositories are used. “First aid for a bee or wasp sting depends on the number of bites, the sensitivity of the victim to the poison and the severity of the allergic reaction. In uncomplicated cases, a cool compress is enough, in more severe situations, they include taking antihistamines and an emergency visit to the doctor,” doctors noted.
