Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said that since February 23, Ukraine has been ready for different scenarios, commenting on Russia’s threatening actions on May 9.
From the point of view of propaganda, Russian President Vladimir Putin will announce something grandiose on May 9, Kuleba said at the same time.
The minister said this at a briefing with colleagues from the Baltic countries on 6 May.
According to the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, the importance of May 9 should not be exaggerated.
“What worse can happen? More missiles will fly to Ukraine? They can do it and not on May 9. Will they abandon more Russian troops? So this can also happen every day. From February 23, we are ready for different scenarios, I would not want to exaggerate the importance May 9. Every day something can change,” Kuleba said.
Recall that Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said that Russia intends to officially declare war on Ukraine on May 9.
And according to Ukrainian intelligence, on that day, mobilization will be announced in the Russian Federation.
