The Pentagon is convinced that now the armed forces of Belarus do not plan to actively participate in the Russian war against Ukraine, despite the sudden test of their combat readiness.
Pentagon Speaker John Kirby stated this at a briefing, Ukrinform writes .
“Now there are no signs that Belarus intends to become an active participant in the war in Ukraine,” Kirby said.
But at the same time, the Pentagon representative noted that he would not comment on the course of military exercises in Belarus.
It should be reminded that earlier in the Armed Forces of Belarus a sudden check of the readiness of the reaction forces began: in particular, one missile battalion began to move to the destination area.
