A preview version of the Controller Panel has become available to Windows beta testers. This is a redesigned Xbox Game Bar that gives you quick access to recent games, allowing you to launch them with a single button on your controller.
Message from the editor: Our defenders from the 3rd separate battalion of the UDA, who are in the Zaporozhye region, need things to resist the enemy: quadrocopters and smartphones to control them, night vision sights. Details for transferring funds to a monobank card – Katerina Kolonovich, card number 5375411505235312. Please join the fundraising. Glory to Ukraine!
The panel appears when you connect the controller to a PC running a Windows 11 Insider Preview test build. With one click of a button, you can immediately call up the last three games that were launched.
To test the new feature, you must be an Insider and install an Insider Preview build from the Dev or Beta channels. You then need to download the Xbox Insider Hub from the Microsoft Store and sign in with your account. In the store, check the Xbox Game Bar version (at least 5.722.5022.0). Then you should reboot the system and connect the controller, if you have not done this before.
Among the possible problems that are already known – third-party games are not displayed in the list and duplication of games. If this or another bug is found, Microsoft is asking that a report be sent to the Feedback Hub.
