The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Poland also added that refugees from Ukraine are trying to rent housing on their own. At the same time, he assured that in various types of centers of state companies, government and local self-government there is still a reserve for several tens of thousands of places where these people can be accommodated.
At the same time, the official recalled that so far Poland has not received any funds from the European Union that could be used to help refugees from Ukraine.
Schaefernaker added that Poland proposes to create an additional European Union fund to help refugees from Ukraine.
Recall that more than 3 million Ukrainians left the country in search of shelter from the war. Most of the Ukrainian refugees were hosted by neighboring Poland.
