The Russian occupiers are still hitting Kharkiv with their artillery, so the goal of the counteroffensive is to push them as far as possible, TSN says.

Gorky Park is a favorite vacation spot for Kharkiv residents. Symbolic footage captured by a surveillance camera shows a horde of rashists shooting at children’s attractions, although it is not clear what strategic danger swings and carousels pose for Putin. “Kharkov is completely under potential attack,” says Oleg Kovalchuk, head of the Kharkov border detachment.

Despite the horror and destruction of Kharkov, the situation around the city improved. Along the perimeter of the eastern metropolis, the number of checkpoints has increased. Entry and exit are now controlled by border guards. In fact, this is a positive signal, the rashists were thrown back from the city. And the border guards who participated in the battles with the Russians can be assigned tasks in the main, law enforcement profile. “The border guards will carry out the tasks of reconnaissance operations as part of border detachments,” the military explains.

The enemy does not give up the idea of capturing Kharkov. This means that these guys have a job to filter out, not to let potential informers and saboteurs into the city. “For certain reasons, I can’t give you a figure, but a lot of saboteurs and spotters were detained. Mostly they are locals from Kharkov, local people who sold out,” says Valery Vavrinyuk, head of the eastern regional department of the GNSU.

Before the start of the counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the suburbs of Kharkov, the head of the State Border Service checked the combat readiness of his subordinates. Sergei Deineko believes that the very moment has come when the border guards also need to be armed with heavy equipment. “If the State Border Service were armed with heavy mortars, multiple rocket launchers, I am sure that the enemy would not be able to move deep into the territory of Ukraine so quickly. We hope that we will all draw conclusions, and the State Border Service will receive new, more powerful capabilities,” he is convinced.

The border guards are preparing to quickly return to the state border as soon as the gunsmiths push the invaders back to Russia.

Putin expected that Kharkov would meet him with flowers, but he was fatally mistaken. The city, stubbornly rebuffing the invaders, supports its real defenders.
