In London, at an auction to raise funds for the needs of Ukraine, they sold the fleece jacket of President Vladimir Zelensky, which he wore during a meeting with Boris Johnson in Kyiv.
We have already analyzed in detail the image of President Zelensky on the day of that significant meeting. Zelensky was wearing an olive zippered fleece jacket, the price of which is 383 hryvnia, a khaki T-shirt for 200 hryvnia, Saucony jazz camo sneakers, worth 1959 hryvnia, Rip Stop Dark tactical pants for 1010 hryvnia.
The outfit chosen for the meeting with the British politician cost the head of the country about $120, which is approximately 3,530 hryvnias.
Now The Telegraph is reporting that Zelensky’s fleece jacket has sold for £90,000 (more than $111,000). The initial price of the lot was 50 thousand pounds (almost 62 thousand dollars).
As the newspaper writes, before the start of the auction, a good friend of Ukraine, Boris Johnson, spoke. He stated that the clothes should be priced well above their starting price of £50,000 and urged bidders not to be greedy.
President Zelenskiy also spoke during the auction via video link and praised the UK and the brave Boris Johnson for supporting our country so much.
