During the day, there were no significant changes in positions on the line of collision in the Kherson and Nikolaev directions. However, Ukrainian units detected and frustrated the enemy’s attempt to withdraw the reconnaissance group in time. As a result of the battle, from the side of the enemy there are killed, wounded and captured.

• Having hit Nikolaev with multiple launch rocket systems at the beginning of the day, the enemy continued to terrorize other southern regions with missile strikes throughout the day.
• Over the Kherson and Odesa regions, the Orlan-10 unmanned reconnaissance aircraft and the Forpost missile launcher, respectively, were shot down.
• The enemy attacked Odessa with missiles 9 times a day, mainly with the use of aircraft. 6 missiles accurately destroyed by air defense forces.
• The strikes damaged an electrical substation and a gas pipeline, destroyed several private houses and damaged recreation areas. Unfortunately, there are victims.

• Ukrainian rocket and artillery units and aviation inflicted about fifty defeats on hostile positions.
• Enemy losses per day amounted to: 51 Russian military, 2 multiple launch rocket systems, a tank, the Pantsir-S anti-aircraft missile system, 2 UAVs and a helicopter.
• Confirmation was received of the enemy’s losses the day before – this is another 51 Russian military, 3 more multiple rocket launchers, 4 armored personnel carriers, 2 vehicles, and the Zoo 2 radar artillery reconnaissance complex was also significantly damaged.
• The ship grouping of the enemy fleet has at least 6 ships and 2 submarines, which are in readiness for launching missile strikes, since more than fifty cruise missiles are equipped.

“Do not endanger yourself, follow the air raid algorithm, do not approach suspicious objects and restricted areas on the coast and border areas, trust only official reliable sources of information, believe in the defense forces and our common Victory. We will overcome the enemy together! there will be Ukraine !” the message says.

Recall that during the day, May 8, in the area of responsibility of the operational-tactical group “Vostok” Russian infidels made four attacks . However, the Ukrainian defenders give the Russian military a worthy answer.
