Croatia will continue to consistently support Ukraine in various areas of life, because this is the choice of the right side of history and ethics.
The key topic of negotiations between President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and Prime Minister of Croatia Andriy Plenkovic was the security of Ukraine in the field of defense, energy and economy, as well as interaction at the EU level.

“Croatia has consistently supported Ukraine in political, diplomatic, legal, financial, humanitarian and technical terms. We will continue to provide this assistance, clearly realizing that we are doing this as a country that has always been convinced that we are on the right side of history, on the right side of ethics,” Plenkovic said.
He also added that Croatia would certainly support further restrictive measures against Russia at the EU level.
“We supported five previous packages and are now cooperating through the sixth package,” the Prime Minister said.
Earlier, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal met with the head of the German Bundestag, Berbel Bas, who arrived in the capital. Shmyhal discussed strategically important areas of cooperation with Berbel Bass: weapons, sanctions, finances and the European perspective.
