The Russian military does not stop trying to seize the east of Ukraine, but the Ukrainian defenders daily continue to restrain the aggressor.
During the day, May 8, in the area of responsibility of the “Skhid” operational-tactical group, the Russian invaders carried out four attacks.
This was reported in the operational-tactical group “Skhid”.
However, the Ukrainian defenders give the Russian military a worthy answer. In particular, the soldiers managed to destroy:
- personnel – up to 190
- tanks – 15
- BMP – 12
- BTR – 12
- BBM – 1
- MTLB – 1
- mortar crews – 1
- ATT – 6
- tankers – 1
- UAV – 2
Recall that in the Limansky direction, the Russians tried to take Alexandrovka under full control with the help of individual units from the 90th Panzer Division. Also, with the support of artillery, the invaders wanted to gain a foothold in the northern outskirts of the village of Shandrigolovo. However, they were not successful.
