Permission to sell blood products abroad will help the pharmaceutical industry fulfill international contracts.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine allowed national manufacturers to sell blood products abroad, but subject to mandatory conditions.
This is reported by the Ministry of Health.
“The corresponding decision is another step taken by the Ministry of Health to restore the economy from the devastating consequences of the Russian invasion,” the message says.
Yes, permission to sell blood products abroad:
- help the pharmaceutical industry fulfill international contracts;
- will save the national producer from the critical consequences of the war;
- will contribute to the launch of the Ukrainian economy;
- will contribute to additional revenues to the state budget.
In particular, we are talking about blood-based products (albumin and immunoglobulin), and not donated blood as such. After all, the export of the latter to Ukraine is prohibited.
It should be noted that it is prohibited to sell blood components or preparations based on it if the manufacturer does not have an irreducible stock.
