On the evening of May 8, Russia fired missiles at the territory of the Sumy region. In particular, an enemy missile flew into the territory of the Shostka region.
Rockets fired by Russian troops took place when an air alert was announced.
This was announced by the head of the Sumy regional military administration Dmitry Zhivitsky.
“There were rocket attacks on the territory of the Shostka region. Do not leave shelters during the air raid!”, – wrote the head of the region.
Whether there were casualties is unknown. So far, there are no more details about the “arrival”.

Earlier, the National Security and Defense Council called on Ukrainians to be especially attentive to alarm notifications from May 7 to May 9, inclusive , since there is an increased risk of shelling of Ukraine by Russian occupiers.
