It is not yet possible to buy a train ticket on the UZ website. The company explained that the reason for this was massive cyber attacks.
On Sunday, May 8, due to massive cyber attacks, the operation of the Ukrzaliznytsia website, in particular when buying tickets, is disrupted.
This was announced by the head of communications and marketing of the passenger direction “UZ” Alexander Shevchenko, writes RBC-Ukraine .
“For the last four or five days, there have been cyberattacks on the booking.uz website. Therefore, the site is turned off from time to time to repel another attack. Now UZ specialists are working to resume the operation of the ticket purchase service,” he said.
Shevchenko also recalled that it remains possible to purchase tickets through the official chat bots of UZ in Telegram and Viber.
Recall that Ukrzaliznytsia has temporarily restricted the sale of railway tickets through partner services, namely: PrivatBank, Tickets.ua, Proizd.ua and others. This decision was made in order to secure the online systems of Ukrzaliznytsia and guarantee the uninterrupted operation of their work in the future.
