In the company with the top ZTE Axon 40 Ultra, a slightly more affordable Axon 40 Pro was presented. At the same time, it is difficult to call the “firmware” the ideological heir to the “ultra”: there is no under-screen front camera, no flagship camera configuration, or even a similar design. So, in terms of cameras, the Axon 40 Pro is only ready to boast of a 108-megapixel main sensor, which is accompanied by an 8-megapixel wide and a pair of 2-megapixel plugs for macro and bokeh. The screen, apparently, the newcomer got from the recent Nubia Z40 Pro: 6.67 “AMOLED panel with an adaptive frequency from 60 to 144 Hz.
The good old Snapdragon 870 is responsible for the performance, and it is powered by a 5000 mAh battery with 66 W charging. Like the older model, the Axon 40 Pro will go on sale on May 13 in black, blue and orange colors (the latter changes color under the sun). The choice will offer three memory configurations of 8/256, 12/256, 12/512 GB for 2998, 3298 and 3798 yuan, respectively.
