30 seriously wounded Ukrainians were evacuated from the eastern regions of Ukraine to Germany. These are mainly adults and children with complex mine-explosive wounds.
This was reported in the Lviv Regional Center for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine.
Among the wounded are not only adults, but also children with complex mine-explosive wounds, who suffered as a result of the military aggression of the Russian Federation, as well as patients in need of specialized treatment.
People were taken to the Lviv region by train, and then the patients went by emergency medical carriages to Poland, where a Rzeszow-Cologne flight was organized for them. For this, a “flying hospital” was used – a special medical flight of the Luftwaffe of the German Armed Forces.
The referral of patients to Germany was made possible thanks to the joint efforts of the Ministry of Health and the European Commission.
