The government allocated funds from the reserve fund of the state budget for the maintenance of prisoners of war from the Russian Federation.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has allocated 43.7 million hryvnia for the implementation of measures to keep prisoners of war in camps and areas.
This is stated in the order of the government dated May 7, 2022 No. 352-r.
The Ministry of Finance shall carry out the indicated expenditures from the state budget reserve fund.
“The Ministry of Justice must submit, by December 30, 2022, to the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Economy and the State Treasury Service a report on the use of funds allocated in accordance with this order,” the resolution says.
Recall that the Armed Forces of Ukraine captured five Russian servicemen, who are now testifying about the crimes of their commanders.
