4-year-old Alice’s mother was stolen. Russian invaders separated a woman and her little daughter during the last evacuation from the territory of the Azovstal plant in Mariupol.
The mother of the child allegedly did not pass the so-called filtration procedure and was taken hostage in the occupied territory. After separation from her mother , 4-year-old Alice was accompanied during the evacuation by a girl who simply agreed to look after the child. Currently, the girl is in Zaporozhye.
4-year-old Alisa became famous after her mother made a video about how her daughter dreams of getting out of the shelling and returning home.
The video of Alisa from the Azovstal bunker first appeared on April 17. Then it was reported that the girl was the daughter of a military doctor from Mariupol . From the first days of the siege of the city, the child was in hiding, where there is an improvised hospital. There, her mother assisted the wounded soldiers.

The video with the girl began to spread quickly in social networks. Already two days after its publication, the Shakhtar football team at a charity match in Istanbul came out in T-shirts with a photo of 4-year-old Alisa, who hid from Russian shells in the Mariupol bomb shelter all the days of the war.
The football club explained that through the story of Alice they wanted to show the world the horror of the war that the Russian Federation unleashed against Ukraine.
“I want to go back home” — that was the inscription under the photo of the child on the Donetsk Pitmen’s shirts.
But the girl, of course, did not return home. Moreover, the Russian invaders stole her mother from her on Mother’s Day, May 8.
So far, the girl is in Zaporozhye, and her mother, according to Azov, remained in a filtration camp on the territory of the so-called “DPR”.
Social networks are circulating messages demanding the return of the mother to the child.
“The mother’s whereabouts are still unknown! We ask the world community to intervene and return the mother to the child,” the Azov regiment called.
Recall that last night, May 8, more than 170 civilians were evacuated to Zaporozhye from the besieged Mariupol and the Azovstal plant after weeks of being mostly underground.
