The 25-year-old player of the Ukrainian national team, which without him began preparations for the playoff selection for the 2022 World Cup, had a training session with a 10-year-old boy at the club base of the English club.

Zinchenko published photos from the training on his Instagram page and shared with subscribers the story of a boy who dreamed of becoming a football player, but Russian “liberators” intervened in his plans.

“This is Andriy. He is 10 years old. Today he is already safe. Like most Ukrainians, he was forced to leave his home with his family because of the war. Even 75 days ago, this boy dreamed of becoming a football player and was training carelessly with his team. Today, he dreams of only one thing – about peace in our country, about calmness, about a normal life at home.

It hurts me a lot that because of the war unleashed by Russia, there are a lot of children like Andrei in Ukraine today. Deprived of childhood, and even worse – life. I believe that the day of our Ukrainian victory will come soon. And all the kids will be able to live their carefree childhood again, full of childhood dreams and positive emotions, which Andriy could feel for a few minutes today at Manchester City training,” Zinchenko wrote.

Earlier, TSN Prosport reported that the fans of the Croatian champion supported the defenders of Azovstal with a powerful banner.
